Jun 25, 2026 Mass Central Rail Trail - Hudson Sudbury Trail Report

The intersection at Peakham Rd is very dangerous. There is no signal or light button for bikers yet to push and even if stopping before proceeding, there is a curve that blocks visibility for bikers and cars. I was almost hit today by a police vehicle driving very fast around that blind curve heading North (no siren), while I was heading east towards Sudbury. I had stopped and was proceeding cautiously at the cross walk and slammed the brakes last second just as the police vehicle came speeding around that bend. This intersection needs crosswalk lights!
