Description:
This is a very long way. Never ending climb. There was a river crossing. It was not minor. Required removal of shoes, socks and knee pads. Hold on to your bike so it doesn’t get taken with the current. Many windfall trees across the trail to navigate.

Alpine riding is primo. Very much worth the push to get there. Some great flow trails and incredible views.

Trail conditions on the way down were variable including; sand, active land slide, shale slope, snow, bog, baby head sized rocks. A lot of horse poo on the trail.

All in all. Well worth the trouble. A great day out with a good crew. Better than anticipated. PS make sure you wear glasses so you don’t get dust in your eyes.
