Description:
The rock work is rideable. Take a look first if you haven’t ridden it and ride slow, there is a ton of grip and it opens at the end of the line.
For the people who do not dig i’ll explain. The wood was rotten. So rotten i could break up the supports with my hands. There is very little cedar in the area to remake with wood and it would run into similar issues. There is also very little dirt but there is a ton of rock.
The rocks are dry fit and the layers are filled with hand made crush rock. All caped with a rock that weighs a few hundred pounds. It will hopefully drain and last a long time.
If this is not your cup of tea then there is a ride around which is easier. This is a double black trail and a double black feature.
If you want to be a part of the community who makes the trails you recreate on then come out to some dig days and you will be welcomed.

Legend, thanks for the work. Comical to think there are people in our community who think casting shade on volunteer work is appropriate. That bridge has been getting sketchier and sketchier for years, glad someone got up there and made it sustainably whilst keeping the flavor of the trail. Someone just has a hurt ego that they didn't have the work ethic you have. Salute to you Sir.
