2026, Trail has been destroyed by Andrews and Sons, LLC., who have no trail building experience or certifications. All 25-35% unsustainable grade sections have been retained and simply cleared smooth and gravel laid down in places. This is unridable on the way up and on the way down increases speed. Deep water-bars are placed in these steep sections, creating further hazards for riders. Water will now run unimpeded by roots and previous obstructions, making erosion even worse. One section at the top was rerouted, but the new section has 35% grades and solves nothing due to this. This is a disaster project by the USDA, Forest Service and when people get hurt on this trail, they should hold the Forest Service responsible.
