Description:
BE AWARE!!! Encountered a mom and three cubs on the lower section after where the trail meets West Loop and before Pat’s Go Around heading south. She was not confrontational as I made significant noise while I quickly moved from the area which likely spooked her. The cubs are very able and once I continued to make noise from a distance I heard or saw no trace of them. I was hesitant to take West look back as they moved westward after the encounter and worry they will encounter other riders now that school is out. Make lots of noise often.
