Description:
Rode out here for the first time 2/15/20. As expected was nearly a bushwhack with a good bit of "navigation" required to stay on trail. Riding clockwise there is no signage and only one blaze that we saw until about 7mi in. Trail surface torn up by foraging hogs in more than a few places. Recent logging in one area as well. Riding partner & I moved a significant number of down trees/limbs but there is still more than a good day's work with a chainsaw on the ground. Looks like someone has been out there with a saw within the last year or so.
All that being said, if you want real backcountry riding this is it! Some excellent sections of singletrack mixed in with the old logging road grinds and isthisthetrailorastream sections. Also a nice camp site hidden out there and even a few good views (with the leaves down). Plan for wet feet.
