Jerks Bike Shop directory

 I had a terrible experience with this “Shop”. I purchased a titanium frame intending to build it up for a cruiser. I was away from town but took the owner’s word that it was in good condition and upon my return to town picked up the bike in a rain storm with the family in the car. Got home and hung the frame until the weather warmed up. When the weather turned to bike season I took the bike down and started to prepare to build it up. After close inspection I discovered some damage to the non drive chain stay that I hadn’t noticed before so I reached out to the owner about the issue. I didn’t ask for anything, rather just wanted to get his thoughts on how to handle it. Unfortunately, his response was to lie, deny and accuse me of damaging the frame, or even more preposterously, swapping the frame for a damaged one. This is a 90’s frame- not many of which exist. I confirmed his intention was to not support the sale and he confirmed, he wasn’t going to do anything about the situation. Didn’t even have the decency to discuss the matter. The bottom line is that the value of a shop is the service they provide, before, during and after the sale. I would encourage you to consider my experience and would warn against buying anything from this shop- new or used. Find another place to spend your hard earned money that will stand behind their sales and customers
