The Wombat MTB Club draws together riders from the Macedon Ranges and greater Melbourne areas who have a shared joy of riding bikes. Our youngest member is 6 and our oldest is 62.
There are some serious cross country racers, endurance freaks, and gravity enthusiasts in the club but the bulk of our membership are social riders with a passion for the trails around Woodend and the Macedon Ranges. The now famous Wombat Loop has always been a focal point for the club and continues to be so to the present day.
The Club conducts races, social rides, social events, skills days, and working bees. Our extensive trail network has something for everyone, from absolute beginner to elite athlete, and our members are always keen to help newbies master the trails.
