A great shop that seems like they always have a sale going on & have plenty of employees to help you out. It is kind of like pep boys though... They have so much stuff it's hard for them to be an expert on everything. Go in knowing what you need & know the right questions to ask. They're plenty helpful.

I bought one of the first bikes from Tani when he was just starting - a Jamis Dakar. Then an Aeon Isis - before they could get Santa Cruz, Jamis Dragon, and lots of parts and service. Great shop. a REAL bike shop. Tani once said "I'll never sell Specialized". Never say never. David Turner of Turner bikes calls them a "money making machine" - but they maintain a real roots feel. My favorite all time shop next to Supergo, which is gone and not likely ever resurrected. Did a few of The Path "Bikes and Beers" rides when I lived and rode in SoCal, as well as many rides with that group in Santa Ana mountains and Laguna. There is so much inventory in there it's...impressive! Definitely know exactly what you want or you may get "grocery store" it is and end up with a lot more than you thought you needed.

The Best bike shop in Orange County. Prices are exceptional, very high quality bike service, and almost every mountain bike and part you can imagine in stock. Tani is the owner and is always smiling and making sure his customers are happy. He's always willing to work a deal with regular customers. A big thank you to every one at The Path, Ill see you guys on the trails!

The Path is not just a shop. There are a few shops out there that are hallowed grounds with enough time under their belts to really understand the sports evolution. This shop hires seriously talented riders to advise. How do I know that....because they frequent the local trails and kick my ass up and down the hill...with a friendly wave. The principle (Tani) has skills. His results speak for themselves. He knows what it takes to approach perfection and manages his shop accordingly. This is the kind of place where you visit on the way home from work even if you don’t really need anything just to taste the vibe. From my singlespeed days to a far cushier Tallboy, these guys have kept me up and running for well over a decade. Cheers.

My absolute go to shop! I bought my first MTB there from Tani the owner when they were just starting, and now I'm picking up my new frame up build in two days. From a self proclaimed over thinker that asks way too many questions, I can personally attest to their patience, knowledge, and professionalism. From buying basic parts to building your dream bike, this is an amazing shop to work with.
