Aubures Camp, which is home to Rooirand MTB Trail Network, is set on a working farm at the base of Rooirand mountain, about 50kms north-west of Helmeringhausen on Route C27 in the Karas Region of Namibia.
There are 6 campsites constructed under large camel thorn trees, and defined with circles of sandstone boulders. The rustic ablution block is also built around a robust camel thorn tree, with an open roof. It has flush toilets, hot showers and a scullery area outside. Each site has a fire pit and a tap with clean drinking water.
The hills behind the campsite are riddled with a number mountain biking/hiking trails which at times offer a great view over the camp and the farm.
