The West Duwamish Greenbelt is Seattle's Largest Contiguous Forrest. Hugging the western flanks of the Duwamish River, the Greenbelt stretches from Pigeon Point to the North to Highland Park Boulevard to the South. 550 acres of lush forest beckon users to hike and ride on a mix of improved and unimproved "social" trails. On-going trail building and restoration have ensured easy access to a hidden gem. The West Duwamish Greenbelt Trails group (WDGT) promotes walking and hiking trails in the greenbelt.
