Friends of the Pugwash Estuary was formed in 2004 by a small group of individuals concerned with the health of the Estuary and with what could be done to preserve this ecological treasure. Since that time much has been accomplished, including the engagement of the wider community and the growth of the membership to 163 in 2018.
