The Blakeley Bike Trail Initiative is a partnership between the Historic Blakeley State Park and Eastern Shore Cycles, with support from the Southern Alabama Mountain Biking Association, to develop and maintain the trail system within Blakeley Park.As a result of this partnership, Blakeley Park now has a designated bike trail. This loop of over 10 miles traverses a large area of the park, taking riders through some of our scenic wooded trails and alongside many of our Civil War earthworks. While biking is allowed throughout the park, this defined route has been designed by biking enthusiasts especially for fellow bikers.
The Blakeley Bike Trail Initiative is entirely dependant on generous donations from happy trail users and its supportive community.
