The Friends of Colonie Park Trails is a no-profit organization formed to benefit the citizens of the Town of Colonie and neighboring towns through the recreational opportunities offered by the Colonie Town Park (also known as the Mohawk River Park) trail network. The FCTPT works to 1) educate residents about the recreational opportunities offered by in the Park 2) promote the use, development, enjoyment, and stewardship of the trails, 3) raise and spend funds for maintenance and improvements with attention to user safety, trail drainage, and sustainability.
