Founded in 1969, the Shelton Land Conservation Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and protection open spaces in Shelton, Connecticut. We currently hold in trust 30 parcles of land totaling over 365 acres. Our properties have been acquired by purchase, partnership, grant, and bequest. We can accept donations of land. The Trust's members and officers are your neighbors who are working to save some of our streams, ponds, woodlands and marshes for native wildlife and for the enjoyment and education of you and your children. Membership in the Trust is open to the public.
