The cambu Trail Collective is a small community based MTB group working in collaboration with the Cambusbarron Community Development Trust (CCDT) to protect and develop trails on Gillies Hill.
The group hosts trail cleans (under the name Trash Free Cambu), dig days, as well as undertaking outreach work with various other organisations. Our members sit on the Woodland Management Group of the CCDT, as well as being regular contributors to groups such as Trash Free Trails, and the UK MTB Trail Alliance. We are previous winners of the Community Project of the Year award at the Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland Awards.
Our goal is to demonstrate that MTB, through meaningful local collaboration, can be a real enabler to protecting our wildplaces and trails both now and in the future. To see what we get up to, have a look at our social feeds.
