FORT is a volunteer, non-profit society, and the official non-government partner to the rail trail owner jurisdictions. FORT's mission is to enhance the user experience and make the Okanagan Rail Trail the best it can be. Activities include planning and fundraising for trail amenities and improvements, an on-site Trail Ambassador program, an environmental stewardship program, and providing historical and cultural awareness, while engaging trail supporters through social channels.
