About the Farm
Maple Wind Farm is a diversified, pasture-based farm in the rolling hills of Richmond, Vermont. The working farm raises grass-fed beef and pork and produces pasture-raised poultry and eggs using regenerative practices that restore soil health and protect the watershed. Open fields and wooded ridgelines now host a growing network of multi-use trails.
Farm Store
Open year-round, the self-serve farm store offers Maple Wind meats, eggs, and seasonal farm products, plus goods from neighboring Vermont producers.
Trail users will also find grab-and-go options — energy bars, hydration tablets, canned & bottled drinks, cold brew coffee, and craft beverages. Perfect before or after your ride or hike.
Parking
Visitor parking is located by the white box truck and small shed across from the farm store.
Please be respectful of farm operations and leave space for delivery vehicles.
Trail access begins a short ways east across the road — look for trail signs at the start of the network.
Additional parking is available across the road at the Andrews Community Forest parking lot for busy days and direct trail access.

The Maple Wind trail network offers climbing and descending options for biking, hiking, and snowshoeing, linking open-field views with forested singletrack. Built and maintained with Richmond Mountain Trails (RMT), terrain ranges from rolling flow to technical rock features for year-round recreation.
