The Kijabe Trails Association was formed to support the growing Kijabe Trails. It currently employs 2 full time employees, who build and maintain current and new trails in the Kijabe forest with support from the Kijabe Forest Trust for preservation purposes.
Kijabe is a destination for mountain bikers from all around East Africa and has gained its following from BKXC, Trail1 and Kijabe Mountainbiking.
