Tunnel Gully Bike Trails was founded in 2014 by the late Kevin Blair. Initially starting with a single trail on the Kaitoke side of State Highway 2, the network then expanded south into the Pakuratahi Forest.
These trails are built and maintained by a small group of enthusiastic and determined riders, working under the NtrailZ trail crew banner.
Main access to the trail hub is via Plateau Road, Te Marua.
