 I took my surge to get my chain put on. Nice because they were able to do it the same day which the only other bike shop in town could not do, told me to come back 3 days later. My chain was installed with a few other things that I didn't give permission for them to do. So, I got charged extra. All I needed was my chain installed then I would've given it a tune up myself. So I paid just because the work was already done. It was not the friendliest place so I didn't ask about local trails which I wanted to do since I was in town for a few days. I browsed a bit and felt like I was in rei or performance bikes, kind of like a big store not a local bike shop feel. I could only imagine the attitude I would've got if I would've mentioned I built my bike myself. Just an honest review.

 505 Cycles is a great community bike shop! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. As I waited for my husband to shop around I was talking with one of the owners and found out that they had just purchased the shop in 2018. They have several bike brands and tons of bikes. I watched their interactions with other customers and could tell they really care about people and getting them on a bike that suits their needs. My husband bought a Kona and loves it so I had to post this review after seeing the other review from 2014 so that people would know our experience was wonderful!
