Might not be the biggest shop ever, but the staff is what makes this shop the best in Santa Cruz. The guys are super cool, knowledgeable and always willing to help you out. If you're in the area to ride and need a shop, look no further.
Can't believe I haven't put a review in for these guys yet...
Whenever I head down to SC to visit my kid (at UCSC), I stay at the Mission Inn so I can just walk on over and bug the guys in the shop before or after I finally get around to cruising down the street to Wilder for a ride, or driving over to Aptos to ride.
.
Add to that the fact that they are also right next to an awesome bakery... a cool grocery store down the street (New Leaf), Upper Crust Pizza, The Taqueria, and.... Ferrell's 24 HOUR DONUTS AND ICE CREAM!
Always figured I could save money on a motel by buying a donut an hour and just staying at Ferrell's until ABS opens up!
.
The folks at ABS have always been helpful and friendly. They have any gear I need if I forgot something back at home, they offer up advice on ride locations... basically a great shop with great people! Feels like Humboldt! hahaha
