Custom built mountain bikes for the demanding customer looking for something outside of the box bike. Superior service that actually makes a difference in your riding. Riding gear, parts, accessories from trusted brands that I believe in and personally use. Riding great bikes on great trails is how I stay sane, happy and fit in our modern world. It's my dream to enrich as many lives possible by maximizing the riding experience.

Adam and the Downhill Zone is my go-to full-mtb shop for quite a few reasons: 1) Customer service 2) Stock of a WIDE variety of all the top real MTB tires. Many other shops have such few tires, let alone the correct casing and rubber compound for actual mountain biking in the PNW. 3) Just like the tires, most shops lack a decent selection in minimum quality pads/protection to try on. Adam stocks high quality brands such as IXS, TLD, etc so that you can make an informed purchase. No longer do you have to go through mail order or go through 4 shops just to try a decent selection. Prices are good and the service is great. Head down Front St after/before a ride and give Downhill Zone a look.
Been with Downhill Zone since the beginning nearly two decades ago. Besides being an ace mechanic, Adam is the Oxford English Dictionary of mtb. He remembers more about all the bikes I've bought from him than I do and one time even reminded me of one I'd totally forgotten about (an Intense 6.6, hmmm wonder why). Anyway, can't go wrong with the Zone!
Adam at Downhill Zone is the only person I trust with my bikes. Super nice guy and a really comfortable feeling in the shop. I've learned so much just sitting and talking bikes. He focuses on delivering the proper bike and tuning for each individual to get the most out of riding.
Excellent shop and highly recommended!
