Dalton's only Local Shop! Great Service and knowledgeable staff. Good prices and cool, unique stuff to look and chat about always, Stock a lot of the common parts for repairs; If they don't have it they will get it, Tools to sell in stock. LOTS of Nutrition Osprey packs. Esee Knives Hincapie and Bontrager clothing. The guys are honest with you. Always doing the best to get your going ASAP They have clinics and classes and will help educate you if you are willing to learn.
Sell Trek and Salsa Bikes, Custom builds and wheel building.
They now have Rental Fuel EX8s for the year!

Right on the Pinhoti trail too, less then 2 miles to Dug Gap mtn and the awesome Snake Creek Gap trail. They ride it and know good routes if your in the area. You might even get a shuttle out to the Snake Creek Gap Parking lot.

As we push forward in an electronic era where the LBS are dying out due to cheaper prices on the internet, there are some things you can't get online. Bear Creek Bikes bridges the gap for me, despite building my own bikes, they happily put my headsets and bottom brackets in, and then let me take over from there. I can walk in and get advice on my current builds, order a part or two, partake of a donut that usually graces the counter, or wander the huge retail space and check out the rigs that I can't afford. Their knowledge of the local trail system is paramount to their business, and their rider support and willingness to show new riders around is excellent as well. I call Bear Creek my home bike shop because I choose to invest in a local LBS, sure it may not be the most cost efficient at times, but the internet just hasn't figured out how to connect personally with me on my builds or my needs.

Went in there four years ago after being out of the mtn. biking game for a while. I needed a steerer cut, I was asked if I wanted them to install the race, at the time I didn't know what that was. "Oh well then whatever" was the response I got. Later, I needed a derailleur hanger, they TRIED to charge me $52. (I ordered 3 online for $48.80) Also my wife received attitude and they charged a friend (1st time rider) $900 for a Specialized Rockhopper HT starter bike. I drive 45 minutes more just to go to other shops.
