 This has to have been one of the strangest lodging experiences in all of my travels. The rooms are either yurts or very nice hotel-like rooms - can't complain about that. Though the rooms are hotel-like in appearance the service is anything but. The hosts and their family are constantly wandering around conducting personal business in the common areas. That would not be a problem for me except if you happen to be in the common area while they are conducting that business, you are made to feel very unwelcome. If you need anything at hours other than meal times, you are made to feel unwelcome, At one point in my stay I felt like asking the hostess, Marsha, if we were intruding and suggest that maybe I come back at a more convenient time for them. During breakfast they had an incredibly awkward protocol for dispensing coffee. Instead of having an easily accessible carafe of coffee for everyone to self serve, you had to track someone down each time you needed a refill. That would not have been a problem except that there were 10 guests all wanting a refill at all times AND they made you feel like a glutton for asking for more coffee AND they were not readily available. I think it was a strategy to cut down on guest coffee consumption. And finally, when I'm on an MTB trip I like to eat a big breakfast before the day starts. Boreale simply does not provide enough food at breakfast. And God forbid you ask them for more. At the end of the stay I was glad to be gone from that strange place. .

 Great location that's now even better. Fantastic hosts. Perhaps the best pure singletrack experience in North America that I've ever experienced. Not sure how this can be improved

 i just have to go these other places in my mind or watch the video .but i do have Glentress and Innerleithen an hours drive away . great stuff Boreale Biking peace .
