Went in to the shop for a part but they refused since they weren't going to make enough money unless they installed it. Similarly, they refused to repair a different bike because it was too cheap of a bike for their liking.
I have never been to this place so cant comment on their customer service.
But can comment on your "too cheap of a bike" comment.
I am assuming this was a bike from Walmart or similar. These bike are made from components that I would say not serviceable. Trying to fix these bike can open up a can of worms and lots of repair cost to make it right. Probably more than cost of the bike at time.
