$70 to change a wheel spoke... really? After the initial estimate was "around $30-40". Granted it was a tubular, so the tape and sealant had to be replaced. And the wheel truing was not that great either. Since my tire will need to be replaced soon, perhaps someone should have suggested putting in an inner tube, which might be cheaper
I had a horrible service today at Pitt Cycle. Called to purchase a $1,000.00 bike and the owner was rude over the phone. He didn't want to sell the bike to me because he didn't want to have to put it back in the box. With the shortage of bikes he knew he would sell the bike to someone else anyway. I do not recommend Pitt Meadows Cycle. Very small minded.
