Cycling for Everyone
At its heart, the Woodstock Cycling Club is about FUN! The club welcomes mountain bikers, adaptive riders, road cyclists, racers, touring cyclists and everyone in between. Whatever the bike, wherever the ride, members share a common passion: WE ALL LOVE TO RIDE OUR BIKES! This inclusive approach brings together cyclists of all interests and abilities, celebrating the many ways people enjoy riding while fostering participation, camaraderie and a strong local cycling community.
Organisation and Activities
The Woodstock Cycling Club is a community-based cycling organisation serving Woodstock and the surrounding area in Oxford County, Ontario. It promotes cycling, supports skills development and recreational riding, and organises cycling activities and events for riders of different ages, interests and abilities.
The Pines Trail Network
The club is the principal cycling organisation responsible for developing, maintaining and operating The Pines mountain bike trail network. Working under a lease arrangement with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, the club oversees trail stewardship, facility improvements, riding activities and events. The Pines offers purpose-built singletrack, technical features and dedicated skills facilities, providing riding opportunities for beginners through to experienced mountain bikers. The club also supports adaptive mountain biking, with identified trails and recommended routes that help adaptive riders assess trail suitability and make informed decisions before setting out.
