Since its inception during the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Hadleigh MTB Club has been a shining example of what the 'Legacy' should be. From humble beginnings of a few people and a few ideas, the club is now in its 3rd year and currently has over 350 members of all ages and backgrounds. As well as providing, for our members, led rides of the Olympic MTB Track, Free Skills Coaching, training, funding towards training courses, discounts in many shops/websites, the Hadleigh MTB Club also works very closely with Essex Council and Active Essex on the venue legacy redevelopment, event support in the form of marshalling, ties with local schools and colleges bringing mountain biking to a wider audience and going forward, working with the park rangers to ensure the Hadleigh Farm venue remains world class and the legacy is fulfilled.
