The Mechanical Tempest Workshop is located at 128 Abel Smith Street, Wellington and supports and upholds 128’s Kaupapa.
We are volunteers and the space operates solely on koha or donation.
We are here to share our knowledge of bikes, not fix yours for you.
We offer a space where tools and parts can be used to repair a bicycle (from us or your own) with or without assistance.
The workshop is only open to the general public while there is a volunteer/mechanic present.
You may store a bike here at your own risk. If it is left for more than a week or has no name, contact details and date attached it may be given away.
Please respect our workshop, tools and us.... and have fun!
Feel free to come on by to fix your bike or fix up a rescued bike in the shop!
