This is a little bike park that punches above it's weight. Situated just outside Te Anau (but within easy riding distance) it's a fun little network of about 7km of trails ranging from easy green trails to fun black diamond features and small jumps. It has a unique style all of it's own with some vintage cars as rollable jumps and a few other features includign a teetertotter and some challenging but fun rollable rocks.
At the top of the trails there is a large rustic wooden table and chairs with a magnificent view of Lake Te Anau, Fiordland beyond and the Takitimu Mountains behind, it's a great spot for a picnic or breather before taking your pic of the options to descend. There's Wazzamatagouri or back down Ewe Turn if you want a gentle family ride, or take the loop around the park via Auger or Wuffler, or you can catch some air by hitting Woolly Jumper.
My recommendation for a good loop would be: head up Rattle ya Dags, then climb up Ewe Turn, pick either Auger or Woolly Jumper and follow onto Wuffler, turn onto Elastrator then follow your nose back up Wazzamatagouri until you see Pork Pie heading off on your left. This runs onto Yabba Dabba Doo which you can follow until you see the little rock, head over this onto I'm a Rock I Am and then head back down to the exit via Rattle ya Dags. Woop woop.
There's ample parking provided at the entrance. It's been generously build by the land owner with volunteer help from the local bike club. There's a wee donation box as you enter/leave the trails, so don't forget to pop in a little koha!
