Fredericksburg Area Mountain Bike Enthusiasts (FAMBE) is a group of mountain biking and general outdoor enthusiasts within our community who share similar interests in ADVOCATING, INTRODUCING, MAINTAINING, and USING our local trail systems. The group was initiated to facilitate group rides and destination rides for all skill sets, from beginner to expert, male and female, and for all ages. In addition to having fun and riding, FAMBE is active in the community helping to advocate and market outdoor fitness and the assets our region has tucked away outside of the streets and buildings. The goal is to give outdoor enthusiasts and mountain bikers a place where they can post their scheduled rides, specifically when and where they are riding, so those riders wanting to ride can join them. FAMBE is also committed to providing trail maintenance support to the trails and supporting all clubs and organizations within our region. Together, the group, the fellowship within in it, and the website resources offer our community an invaluable resource to finding trails, making friends, staying active, and simply enjoying the outdoors!
