SLMBA Saint Lawrence County Mountain Biking Association - Regional Admin Group

The Saint Lawrence County Mountain Biking Association, Inc. (SLMBA) is a non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers in Saint Lawrence County, and to create a bicycle friendly community through cycling awareness, safety advocacy and promotion of bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation.
The association seeks to preserve, protect, and promote mountain bike access and diverse riding opportunities on New York's public and private lands through education, communication, and unified action.
In the past two years SLMBA has grown to many dedicated members. Under the supervision of county and state foresters, our organization has constructed approximately 18 miles of new trails in the Downerville Sate Forest, High Flats/Seven Springs State Forest and the Stone Valley Cooperative Recreation Area. We have volunteered over 300 hours of trail maintenance on existing trails in the same three areas. Our expenses include material costs for bridge construction and trail building tools.
