Formed in 2009, MAD is a group of passionate mountain bikers who love to ride off-road.
We are a friendly group of all ages and abilities keen to encourage others into the sport – we aim to cater for everyone whether it be racing, skills sessions or social rides.
Rowallan Park is the home of the Mad MTBC. On the land leased to us by the Mackay Scouts Group we have built 10km of expertly designed single-track. The trails aim to cater for everyone from the novice to experienced rider. We have plenty of up and downhill sections, jumps, bumps, switchbacks, rock-gardens, sweeping berms, tricky trees to ride around and through, as well as a-line and b-line options to keep you on your toes. Look for the signs on Glendaragh Road north of Mackay.
