The Cootamundra Cycle Club was founded in 1895 and is one of the oldest continual clubs in NSW. The club continues to attract good membership numbers today.
Cootamundra has a large contingent of keen mountain bikers. The town has its own track of about 6.5km on the edge of town behind the Golf Course. Hot-lap events have been held here and it is hopeful that an organised 90 minute or 3 hour MTBA sanctioned race may be held in the near future.
