Greetings from Cuba, good to read, really awesome to read about shops and places where to get repairs and parts needed. We are an MTB club in Cuba, looking to stay in touch with people and inviting anyone who will be down here for vacations, if want to share rides and have good times with amazing views on cuban tracks and trails we are saying welcome. Let us ride together!!!
Sales people inconsistent. One promises you one thing and another another thing on the same bike. Service department is over priced. Wanted to get a new handlebar and stem for an upgrade and they quoted me over $300 for a vintage bike. Went to another shop and it cost me $80. I agree with Map Guy. Some salesmen make you feel stupid or ignore you after you walk in more than once and just look at bikes. They tend to be impatient with emails as well. Got a feeling like I was bugging them when I asked questions. One salesman tried to sell me a 54 cm Road bike and I am a 56cm being 5' 11 and a half. Ridiculous.
I have been dealing with this shop on/off for 25 years and it is pretty decent. Good selection and reasonable priced parts. I think retail is a mixed bag with people having good days and bad, they seem helpful & positive on average.
Very impressive selection of bikes, parts and gear. Very good customer service. It pays to know what stuff costs before going in there. Some items are way more expensive and others are quite competitive.
Pros and Cons and time after time the Cons are adding up. Problems with the staff are the primary concerns as otherwise it's a great store. This is a bro shop, they look you up and down and treat you by how you look and by how much you're willing to spend. Every question I have is treated like a stupid question and there is no going above and beyond to help a customer out. The last straw was bad advice for helmet fitting. I don't plan on going back.
Sorry we let you down. We never want our customers to feel judged or not intelligent. I know it has been awhile but I'd love it if you would reach out and let me know more details about your visits. We want to be known for great customer service and your experience definitely was not great. Michael 780-486-3634
I had such a cool experience the first time I went to Revolution Cycle that I couldn't help but come back. The people are inviting and so easy to talk to. First class all the way! Most impressive!!
Wish they sold Santa Cruz Bikes. I would buy one from this shop. Very helpful salespeople and manager answers questions with quick turn around time through email. Still looking for the ideal mountain bike with a good price.
