So after having a trail maintenance day abruptly halted by park employees we realized that going forward we'd need to organize and become an official to get the go ahead to continue work in the park. Plus we were required to carry insurance for anyone working in the park incase of an accident.

We will need to raise funds to cover the insurance, which a handful of us already paid for this year. All other funds collected will be used for materials to repair existing trails and build new ones.

We will have a monthly trail work day..most likely Sundays.

We hope this plays out the way we've envisioned as we think we can make this already fun local spot even better with addressing some drainage issues and improve the overall sustainability of these trails.
