 This organization co-authored a brochure on e-bike riding in the Moab area which was completely fallacious. It recommended trails for e-bikes that were completely inappropriate. The trails were either extremely sandy or extremely steep and rocky - for experts only. The brochure falsely claimed that e-bikes had capabilities in sand and on extremely steep slopes that they do not. The brochure claimed that e-bikes were suitable for trails that traditional mountain bikes couldn't do. E-bikes cannot reasonably go where mountain bikes are not suitable. I have the injuries to prove this. This organization perpetuates the myth that e-bikes are motorcycles. An e-mtb has a power to weight ration of 1:750. A dirt bike has a power to weight ratio about 64 times higher. They are not the same and do not belong on the same trails together.
