HMBA / Deerhurst Fall Enduro event

Big news HMBA is excited to partner with @deerhurstresort for a HMBA Deerhurst Fall Mountain Bike Weekend!

Date: Friday October 13th to Sunday October 15th, 2023. Ride starts at 10am.

Friday: Out of town guests check in at Deerhurst and enjoy a night at the resort or go for a course preview ride.

Saturday: “Enduro” race, beginner skills park, afternoon social at Deerhurst pub. Prizes from sponsors and local bike shops

Sunday morning: social group rides as a grand opening exploring all the new trails.

What is an “Enduro” race? Enduro races involve anywhere from 3-6 timed stages (or trails). The timed portions of the race are mostly downhill but can vary in steepness, length, difficulty, and even have some climbs mixed in. Between each stage or trail, there will be untimed “transfer stages” that are mostly uphill trails. For the most part, enduro is meant to be a fun, approachable and exciting form of mountain biking.

Cost for the event is $50 per rider and all proceeds will go directly to trail building on HMBA trails at Deerhurst.
