Little Rippers Kids Race at Copper Peak Trails Fest
Race Details:

The Annual Copper Peak Trails Fest celebrates the opportunities trails bring to the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the work being done at Copper Peak and other local trail systems. Included in an exciting day of fun and challenge is a 17-mile Expert Cross Country Mountain Bike Race which includes over 2000 feet of climbing from the banks of the Black River to the summit of Copper Peak running right under the largest ski jump in the Western Hemisphere and an 8-mile Sport class with 900 feet of climbing along the same course. Later during the day a 4-Stage Sport and 2-Stage Enduro Mountain Bike Races give the thrill of racing downhill while enjoying the climb to the start of each stage. Young ones can participate in a fun and moderately challenging kids race between race times. A 5-Mile Trail Run also accompanies the bike races bringing the runners on over 500 feet of climb to the top of Copper Peak. During the day and into the evening, participants and spectators are treated to entertainment and festivities including live music, food trucks, kids activities, and more
