Don't go into hibernation yet
Hi Everyone,
We have an Arctic blast in effect but don't hang up the mountain bike; the trails on Mt. Peg are frozen, leaf free, grippy(not icy), fun n fast! The plan is a group ride this Sunday morning at 10am leaving from Knox Meadow (Dirt lot just south of the Woodstock Inn Athletic Club on Rt. 106) Wear bright colors as it is hunting season and Inn property is not posted. The plan is around a 2 hour ride covering about 10 miles, using most of the network and a lap (or two) on the new trail "Cloud Drop". Depending on who shows we can break into different groups, one covering more ground at a faster pace and the other a more relaxed speed and shorter route.
Forecast is sunny with little to no wind so it should warm up nicely throughout the ride and if we time it right be off the trails before the ground thaws out and turns to mud.
Hope to see you there
Gavin
