The 3CX MTB Race Series is the Bay Area’s longest-running and largest mountain bike race series — celebrating 29 years of racing at Fort Ord. Built on fast, flowy singletrack and smooth rolling terrain, 3CX delivers fun, fast cross-country racing for riders of all ages and experience levels.
The 2026 series includes five race dates:
January 4
January 18
February 1
February 15
March 29 (Series Finals + Juniors Fundraiser)
Each race features a unique mix of Fort Ord’s signature terrain: wide-open passing zones, rolling climbs, and high-speed descents. Courses range from 6 to 8 miles per lap with beginner-friendly options and pro-level pacing.
New for 2026 — Team Competition
Riders can form teams and earn points at every round. Team standings are updated throughout the season, with awards presented at the Series Finals.
Race Packs
Save big with fully transferable Race Packs (5, 8, 20, or 50-pack) available until December 25. They can be used by any rider, at any race.
Additional Events
January 31 — Women’s Skills Clinic
March 29 — Juniors Fundraiser at the Series Finals
The 3CX MTB Race Series is friendly, fast, and professionally organized — the perfect start to your racing season.
