Join us at Montana Wild for a hands-on suspension clinic. Suspension 101 is a hands-on workshop. Mike Williamson at Aurum Suspension has graciously offered his time and expertise to help the MBG raise funds for the new 1.5 mile downhill trail in the Scratchgravels. Aurum Suspension is owned and operated by Mike Williamson, an engineer by training and master bicycle mechanic who has worked in the bike industry since the mid-1990s.
The Suspension 101 workshop will cover the following:
Suspension History
Intro to Suspension (Coil Spring, Air Spring)
Damping (Compression, High Speed Compression)
Rebound (Low Speed Rebound, High Speed Rebound)
Bike Set-Up (bring your bike please)
The cost is $50 and spots are limited.
This will be a hands-on event with Mike helping you dial in your suspension settings. Bring your bike, but please make sure to clean it beforehand. We want to leave Montana Wild as clean as we find it.
