Riders of ALL abilities are welcome to explore the beginner through expert trails on Mt. Sabattis.
Kick off the 2026 mountain bike season with a laid-back morning on the single-track, machine-built trails at Mt. Sabattis. All ages will explore and enjoy This is a low-key meet up designed to get people riding, exploring, and connecting with the trail system. It is free to attend.
The Long Lake Mountain Bike Trails at Mount Sabattis Recreation Area feature 11 purpose-built trails totaling approximately 5 kilometers (just over 3 miles) of machine-built single-track. Designed for riders of all ages and skill levels, the network includes smooth flow trails, beginner-friendly loops, banked berms, rolling terrain, and a jump line for riders looking to build confidence and have fun. Located right in the center of Long Lake, the trail system offers scenic views, a family-friendly atmosphere, and easy access to other recreational amenities including tennis courts, basketball courts, a pavilion, and seasonal events. Whether you're introducing kids to mountain biking or looking for a quick, enjoyable ride, the Mount Sabattis trail system delivers a fun and approachable Adirondack riding experience.
