2026 Annadel Classic MTB Race event

THE CLASSIC RETURNS.

After a 10-year hiatus, cross-country mountain bike racing is returning to Trione-Annadel State Park. The Annadel Classic Revival XC brings back one of Northern California mountain biking's special events—a race with roots reaching all the way back to the early days of the sport.

Annadel hosted legendary mountain bike racing in the 1980s, when some of the pioneers of the sport raced these trails. After racing disappeared from the park for more than two decades, Bike Monkey brought it back with the Annadel XC in 2011. More than 600 riders showed up for that first revival, beginning with an unforgettable mass rollout through Santa Rosa before racing into Annadel. The event continued through 2016 before going quiet again.

Ten years later, it's time to bring it back.

Trione-Annadel isn't simply a race venue. It's one of the centers of Sonoma County's outdoor community—a remarkable network of rocky singletrack, oak woodland, open hillsides and unmistakably Annadel terrain shared by mountain bikers, runners, hikers and equestrians. Friends of Trione-Annadel

The Annadel Classic Revival XC celebrates both sides of that history: real cross-country racing on classic Annadel terrain and the community that has cared for and ridden these trails for generations.

Expect a true old-school XC experience: climbing, rocks, technical trail, fast sections and the kind of course where knowing how to ride a mountain bike matters.

This isn't a new race with an old name.

It's Annadel XC racing again.

The Classic is back.
