Trek Dirt Series Mountain Bike Camp - Hood River, OR

Long on the watersport enthusiasts' map for the incredible Columbia Gorge wind, Hood River serves it up in the mountain bike category as well.

There are long and flowing trails, tight and twisty concoctions, air opportunities, and entire areas dedicated to rollers and bridges. The terrain is perfect for cross-country and all-mountain riders, and suitable for those wanting to work on more technical descents, as long as they're willing to start the ride with a pedal up or a shuttle.

We run our morning skill sessions at Jackson Park and Collins Field, and then head to Post Canyon for our afternoon rides. There we start from four different staging areas: Seven Streams, Family Man, Post Flats and Binns Hill. As always, we split into groups according to skill level and area of interest, and work to give everyone just what they want.

Big thanks to the local Trek Dirt Series coaches, Hood River Area Trail Stewards, staff at Dakine and Mountain View Cycles, and all our Hood River friends for making this trip one of our favorites each year. For 2019 we have two consecutive camps, as well as a one-day camp on the Friday in between. We also have a new discount program for those that want to take three camp days in sequence; feel free to ask us for more info if you'd like.
