Ride notes NEW: We are starting any Junior riders doing the Short Loop only half an hour earlier, starting at 9:30am. This should reduce the conflict between these riders and the fast long-loopers riding down Tumeke at the same time.
Courses will be made up of long loops and/or short loops. The lap configuration will depend on your category. We run a sport course catering to those who want to give the event a try or hang with their mates and be social. The age grades are for those who want to ride with or against riders of their own age. Open Men and Open women are open to anyone, but the Open Men also incorporates the seniors, so it can be highly competitive.
Please see your age group/category below to determine your course and the number of short and/or long loops you will be doing.
Trailforks scans users ridelogs to determine the most popular direction each trail is ridden. A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension.
The colour categories are based on what percentage of riders are riding a trail in its intended direction.
