Race Details:

The Slate Valley Epic is a 40+ mile, 5,000+ vertical mountain bike race on Vermont’s newest and best single & double-track trails in the Slate Valley of southwestern Vermont in Poultney, VT.

ABOUT THE SLATE VALLEY EPIC

Join Slate Valley Trails (SVT) on July 31, 2021 for the inaugural Slate Valley Epic mountain bike race and fundraiser Riders can expect some of the best singletrack riding with plenty of climbing and extraordinary views of southwestern Vermont and the Slate Valley. Join us for an event that will surely challenge you, and be a memorable day in the Vermont woods!

The Slate Valley Epic will hit all 6 peaks at SVT: Cliffhanger, Big Top, Carnie, Birdie, Rocky Ridge and Rusty Bucket with endless views of this beautiful region.  

THE DETAILS

Race starts at 7:30 AM and will begin and end at the Slate Valley Trails' Fairgrounds trailhead located at 131 Town Farm Rd, Poultney, VT.    There will be an 8 hour time limit, so final timed racer ends after 4:30 PM.

$75 registration fee includes a free event T-Shirt to those who register by June 15th.  

July 1st registration fee increases to $85. 

Limit 125 participants.  No e-bikes.  

All racers will be entered into a raffle for cool stuff donated by our exhibitors and sponsors.
