A piece of barge canal history. Long abandoned ballast weights along the trail which were a part of the large digging equipment used to initially create what could have been the cross Florida Barge Canal if it were not for the efforts of Marjorie Harris Carr. Today they are a dim reminder in the middle of the wonderland that is Santos Trails.
