Route finding intuitive but nice to have the app to double check at the beginning near Road 345 due to recent logging activity. Road bottom to top and flipped it and Road back to the car. Took 5 hours including stops for wildlife, checking out rocks and taking pics. All rideable until your legs are gassed from the uphill push to the Sylvan Lake end. | Dry | view

Jun 14, 2020 @ 4:54pm Jun 14, 2020 | trailrun The route listed is incorrect. I submitted what must be a reroute. It’s clearly marked, but noticeably longer now. I think it’s also easier in sections. | Dry | view

Jul 28, 2019 @ 7:11am Jul 28, 2019 | mtb Rode this as a loop from Sylvan Lake turned left on the dirt road at the bottom then left again on the Needles Hwy and climbed it back to camp. Fantastic ride! Used water filter on one of the streams so we didn’t have to carry much water. Amazing views both down and up. Trails were clear, but haven’t seen much traffic lately which made a few turns hard to discern. Will definitely want to do again and include that blue track that parallels the dirt road to Needles Hwy. | Dry | view
Jun 12, 2019 @ 6:07pm Jun 12, 2019 | mtb Clear and very rideable, thanks to trail faries/trolls who cleared all the downed trees. | Dry | view

Aug 20, 2018 @ 5:02am Aug 20, 2018 | mtb Appx 10 trees down in the area in Custer State Park (south of SD-87 about 5 miles). Trail is hard to see at mile 6-8 (from SD-87). Some portions of the trail have thick grass. A few wet/soggy spots as well. Trail is super fun - if you know exactly where to go, otherwise you may be hunting for the track in a couple of spots. Make sure you take a map on a garmin or phone and follow the path. | Dry | view
Jul 7, 2018 @ 9:09am Jul 7, 2018 | mtb 10-ish blowdowns in the top 8 miles of trail (North of American Center Rd). Some wet spots, some areas that are tricky routefinding. Overall a fun wilderness downhill (I rode up Needles Highway in a loop). Uphill would be a chore... | Variable | view
Apr 16, 2018 @ 5:31am Apr 16, 2018 | mtb Mostly soft with intermittent snow and standing water. One downed tree across trail near sawmill. | Wet | view |
